On Sunday, February 26, St. Paul will observe a special service to commemorate Black History Month. It will also be observed as the beginning of Lutheran Schools Week. Speaker for that Sunday will be Mr. Fred Garrett, a lay minister at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Austin area of Chicago. The children's choir from the school will sing and there will be Praise Dancers in the service led by Denine Garrett. Service is at 9:00am.
Welcome to St. Paul Lutheran Church!My name is Rev. Dr. Donald B. Gourlay. I am not the permanent pastor of St. Paul since the congregation is in a transition between pastors. I am a retired pastor who has served two Lutheran congregations in the area. I have also functioned as a staff member of our district. I am pleased to help on a part time basis until the next pastor comes on the scene.
St. Paul is an exciting place to worship. We offer services in English and Spanish every Sunday morning as well as a Saturday evening praise service. We would like to get to know you better and would welcome you to any of our services.
